Chas. Rice, Former Cresco Man, Died In California

J. W. Emslie received word on Friday that his brother-in-law C. H. Rice of Palms Station, Calif., had died at his home that morning. He was past 85 years of age. Funeral services and burial were in California on Monday. Mr. Rice is also a brother-in-law of Mrs. Gilbert H. Melaas of Cresco and an uncle of John Cummingham. He is survived by Mrs. Rice and two children, William and Mary. The Rice family formerly lived in Cresco. They moved to California 25 years ago.
