Helen A. Hron, 86, of Cresco, Iowa passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa. Private family services will be held at a later date at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home 404 North Elm St. Cresco, Iowa. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Helen A. Hron was born on January 30, 1926 in Howard County to Vincent and Rose (Pisny) Hron. After high school, Helen taught in a one-room country schoolhouse for a few years. Helen retired from Sara Lee after many years of employment. She was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed. Surviving are her 3 sisters, Marie Sebastian of Cresco, Iowa, Evelyn Andresen of Cresco, Iowa, and Wilma (Dick) Makinster of Marion, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by, her parents, brothers, Joseph, James, and William Hron, brothers-in-law, Gerald Courtney, Thomas Andresen, and Donald Sebastian, and nephews, Wayne Sebastian and Danny Courtney.
