Frances M. Mohr, 79, services held October 11

Services for Frances M. Mohr, who died Oct. 8 at the Windsor Care Center in Cedar Falls, were held at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in Conway Funeral Home in Cresco. The Rev. Stephen Engelstad, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, Cresco, officiated with burial in Howard Center cemetery.

Frances was born Feb. 15, 1903 to Stephen and Lina (Link) Dotzler in Howard county. She attended the rural schools of Howard county. On Nov. 28, 1922, Frances married Herman Mohr. They became the parents of two children. Her husband died June 27, 1951 and Frances continued to farm until 1957 when she retired and moved into Lime Springs. She lived there until she entered the care center on Nov. 15, 1976.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth L. (Mick) Mohr of Cedar Falls.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; also a daughter, Mrs. George (Edith) McChesney who died in 1979; a brother, Henry Dotzler and three sisters, Maggie Mauer, Carrie Leffler and Mary Cessna.
