Herman A. Mohr Died Friday Noon of Heart Attack

Survived by Widow, Two Children, Funeral Services Held Monday Afternoon

Herman A. Mohr, age 52, who died following a heart attack Friday noon, was buried at the Howard Center cemetery Monday following funeral services held in the home near Cresco. The Rev. Robert R. Ahrens had charge of the services and the Bradley Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Mohr, who was the father of two children, suffered an attack at 12:15 in the afternoon and died within a few minutes. He had apparently been in good health.

Mr. Mohr was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis F. Mohr and was born December 5, 1898, near Lime Springs. He was baptized and confirmed in the Davis Corners Lutheran church by the Rev. John Pleas.

After spending his early years on a farm, he and his father and brother operated a garage in Riceville.

Mr. Mohr was married in Cresco November 28, 1922, and spent all of his married life farming. Mr. and Mrs. Mohr lived on the farm where Mr. Mohr died, for 21 years.

He is survived by his widow and two children, Mrs. Gilbert Houtz of Waterloo, and Kenneth Mohr, at home. There are a brother, Fred Mohr of Crane Lake, Minnesota, and a sister, Mrs. Gilbert Johnson of Austin, Minnesota.
