A little child of Nelson Firkinstad’s {sp} died Monday and was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon in Howard Center cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Name is misspelled in notice. Cemetery records show a child of Nels Ferkingstad (named Nettie) was born and died in 1905.{?}

Ole Firkenstad, on the Coughlin farm in Howard Center, was called upon to consign a five months’ old child to the grave, Tuesday. The interment was in the Howard Center cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: I think this in error as Ole is buried in Oak Lawn but Nelson is buried in Howard Center. I think this is referring to the same child.
