Graveside memorial services for Alice Swenson of Chester were held 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22 at the Albion Township Cemetery near Granger MN. Lundstrum Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Alice 79 died Thursday July 17, 2003 at the Stewartville Care Center in Stewartville, MN.

Alice May Smith was born October 14, 1923 in rural Howard County. She lived most of her life near Granger, MN and later moved to Lime Springs, and then to Chester. In March of 2002 she moved to the Stewartville Care Center.

She is survived two sons William Bellows of Elkhorn, WI and Bruce Swenson of Lime Springs, one daughter Sheila Swenson Patzner of LeRo, MN, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son Raymond Swenson.
