TIMES March 24, 1870 P3 C3

OBITUARY--Again has death entered our midst, and snatched away one of our most valued associates.

Truly we are a community of mourners-Sister Alice L., wife of I. P. Trotter, left us, on the 15th inst. No more shall we hear her voice in our social circle, the school room, or the house of God.

A kind and affectionate companion, a fond mother, an amiable and beloved citizen, how can we spare her?

The subject of this notice was little past thiry-two years of age; has lived in our midst some five or six years; was a noble and devoted companion of her bereaved husband of ten years, and having given her heart to the Saviour when about seventeen years of age, her noblest powers have been spent in His service, and now she has gone to receive her reward.

At her funeral, a large concourse of friends were very feelingly addressed by the Rev. Mr. Nelson. May God comfort the heart of the bereaved companion and be a protector of little Charlie, and of that tender baby, who never felt a mother's warm kiss.
