Mrs. Ethel Keune funeral conducted Oct. 9

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Keune were held Oct. 9 at the Zion Methodist church with the Rev. Wayne Wasta officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She died Oct. 6, at the age of 82.

Ethel Barnes Keune was born at Harmony, Minn, on April 27, 1894, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Barnes. The family moved to Winneshiek county in 1900. She married Wesley Keune on September 10, 1919. They lived on the home farm for thirty years and then moved to their home in Cresco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband who died in 1949; two brothers; and a sister in infancy.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John (Mae) Robinson, of Lime Springs; a son Dale Keune of Cresco; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother Glenn Barnes of Harmony, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs. Ole (Hattie) Brokken of Harmony, Minn., Mrs. Francis (Mildred) Delagardelle of Waterloo, Mrs. Verne (Alta) Daman of Waterloo, Mrs. Merlin (Edna) Steen of Albert Lea, Minn.
