Mrs. Clara Bigalk Services on Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Bigalk were held Tuesday at the Zion United Methodist church with the Rev. Wayne Wasta officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill cemetery with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home in charge of arrangements. She died April 10, at the Cresco hospital.

Clara Louise Bigalk was born May 3, 1892, in Winneshiek county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mandelko. She was raised in the Cresco and Granger area and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. On Dec. 31, 1912, she married Charles Bigalk. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, and one brother; and three children who died in infancy.

Mrs. Bigalk is survived by her children, Clinton and Arvid of Cresco, Mrs. (Beryl) Lahr of Compton, Calif., Mrs. William (Thelberta) Norman of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Ed (Carol) Downey of Action, Mass., Shirley Bigalk of San Francisco, Calif., and Roger of El Centro, Calif. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Luella) Schroeder of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Arthur (Alvina) Martin of Leeds, N. Dak.; one brother, Carl Mandelko of Preston, Minn.
