MRS. EDWARD KRUEGER FUNERAL SERVICES IN EVANGELICAL CHURCH

Survived by Her Husband, Four sons. One Killed in World War II.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Edward Krueger of Cresco, who died Friday at the Cresco hospital. She had been in poor health for five years.

Services were held at the First Evangelical church in Cresco with the pastor, the Rev. H. H. Kitson, in charge. Burial was in Zion cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Bradley Funeral home.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fox, Zella Ellen Fox was born September 9, 1895, in Cresco. She moved with her parents to Aberdeen, South Dakota, but later returned to Cresco.

She was married to Edward Krueger July 12, 1905, in the home of her sister, Mrs. William Krueger. They lived on a farm near Cresco until three years ago when they moved to town. For many years Mrs. Krueger had been a member of the Methodist church in Florenceville, and later transferred to the First Evangelical church in Cresco where she was active in the women's organizations whenever her health permitted.

Beside her husband, she is survived by four sons, Wayne of Watertown, South Dakota, and Leo, Raymond and John of Cresco. There are also nine grandchildren, three brothers, A. L. Fox of Ellendale, North Dakota, Roy Fox of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Ray Fox of Saint Anegar, and three sisters, Mrs. William Krueger of Cresco, Mrs. Albert Judd of Ellendale, North Dakota and Mrs. John McDonald of Aberdeen, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by one son, Elton, who was killed in action during World War II; her parents, one sister Edna, and one brother, Bert.

Among those present for the funeral services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fox, Leonard Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grega and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Slaieker, all of Saint Anagar; Mrs. John McDonald and Roy Fox of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Meryln Krueger of Waterloo; Mrs. Frank Lunsman of Milltown, Wisconsin; Elmer Lunsman of Lindrow, Minnesota; Mrs. Jennie Krueger of Cremar, Wisconsin.
