John Keune Funeral Services Here Friday

The body of John Keune, who died in Seattle, Washington, is being brought to Cresco for funeral services to be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 at the Bradley Funeral home.

Mr. Keune died Sunday in Seattle, where he had made his home with his son, Walter.

The services will be conducted by the Rev. Edward Schaller, pastor of the Cresco Evangelical United Brethren church. Burial will be made in Cedar Hill cemetery north of Cresco.

Mr. Keune was preceded in death by his wife.

John Keune, 85, Funeral Services Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for John Keune, 85, who died in Seattle, Washington, October 25, were held at the Bradley Funeral home on Friday afternoon.

Burial was made in the Cedar Hill cemetery north of Cresco with the Rev. Edward Schaller, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church, in charge.

John Keune, who was born in Howard county March 1, 1874, was married to Elizabeth Walter October 8, 1894. Mr. and Mrs. Keune became the parents of two children.

Mr. Keune farmed most of his life. In his last years he made his home with a son, Walter, in Seattle.

Surviving Mr. Keune are his son, Walter, one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Keune in death were his wife and daughter, Elberda.
