MONA WOHLSDORF, 71, SERVICES MARCH 13

Funeral services for Mona Wohlsdorf, 71, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 in the United Methodist Church in Cresco. The Rev. Allen Wiese officiated with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, rural Cresco.

She died March 10, 1990 at Colonial Manor in Elma following a lengthy illness.

Mona Mae Wohlsdorf was born July 26, 1918 on the Goetsch farm in Albion township to William F. and Sylvia A. (Grabau) Goetsch. She attended Lincoln County school. In later years Mona graduated from Gates Business college in Waterloo.

In 1957 Mona and her mother moved into Cresco and Mona worked as a telephone operator. Later she was employed as accountant and secretary for the Potter Credit Bureau. Her last employment was with the Kevin McGuire Law office and her private tax service.

Mona married William Huhe in 1969. He preceded her in death in 1975.

Mona was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Wa tan ye and Twentieth Century Clubs and Past Presidents of Wa tan ye.

On September 26, 1987, Mona and Alan Wohlsdorf exchanged wedding vows at Zion United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alan of Cresco; a step-son, Roger Wohlsdorf of Cresco and a step-daughter, Darlene Goetsch of rural Cresco; two brothers, William Goetsch and Lawrence Goetsch of rural Cresco and a sister, Vera Easler of Des Moines.

In addition to her first husband, Mona was preceded in death by her parents.
