DIED: JONES-July 11, 1888, at the residence of Mr. P.C. Howe, Cresco, Iowa, Elizabeth A. Jones, aged 30 years.
The funeral services were held on Sunday, 14th, Rev. O.W. Catlin officiating. She was buried in the Foreston cemetery. The deceased was born July 27, 1858, at Ossian, Iowa; was married July 16, 1878, to William Jones, who was killed July 23, 1886, at the Foreston mill by a falling timber. Some time before her marriage she was a member of the M.E. church at Lime Springs. She leaves two children, a mother and many relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
