SAD ACCIDENT

This evening about the close of the County Fair, Hiram Berry eldest son of Judge Berry of this place, was thrown from his horse while riding a race, and it is feared, was fatally injured. The accident resulted from a blunder made by the foremost horse, when in full speed, which caused the horse in his immediate rear to collide with him, giving horses and riders a severe fall.
