Lime Springs Sun Herald June 22, 1916

Harold, the only son of John and Emma Jones, was born in Spokand, Wash., on March 13, 1890, and died at his home in Owatonna, Minn., on June 16, 1916, being 26 years, 3 months, and 3 days old.

At the age of about one year he came with his parents to Minnesota, making their home in Austin where they have lived for several years.

On March 2, 1915, he was united in marriage to Miss Ethey Ellerman of Owatonna, Minn.,and took up his home in that city.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, and both of his parents of Austin, Minn., an aunt, Mrs. Will Halver, three first cousins, Mrs. Dugstad, Lonnie and Grace Halver, and two second cousins, Mr. Jas. McDowell and Mrs. G. Spencer, all of Chester, Iowa, besides other relatives.

The main funeral services were conducted in his home town, Owatonna, Minn., and his body was shipper to Chester, Iowa, where a brief service was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Halver,conducted by Rev. John D. Olson of the M. E. church, and his remains were laid to rest in the Chester cemetery. A host of friends follow him to his last resting place.
