Rollin J. Wildman was born in Howard county, Iowa, Nov.11, 1880.
He lived on the old homestead until about two years ago, when he moved to Monticello, Minn., where he died April 26, 1912, of pneumonia, at the age of 32 years, 6 months, and 15 days.
May 21, 1903, he was united in marriage to Miss Cora Smith of Birmingham, Ohio. To their union were born three children, Smith E., Ruth M., and Myrtle A.
He leaves to mourn, his family, father and mother, one brother, one sister, besides hosts of relatives and friends.
Our loss is his gain, as he was prepared to go.
The funeral took place on Monday aftermoon last at the Congregational church, the church and west room being well filled. The sermon was preached by the Rev. J. St. Aubyn James and based on the words, "It is the Lord; let Him do what seemeth Him good. The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."
"Thou shalt be missed because thy seat will be empty."
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved ones in their hour of trial.
