Mrs. Michael Mulick was born in county of Rocemow, Ireland, June 15, 1822. Died at Davenport, Iowa, December 22, 1906 aged 84 years 6 months and 7 days.

She came to America at the age of 18 years and was married to Michael Mulick at New York City, Oct. 5, 1849. They lived at Port Jervis, New York for 8 years, then moved to Dodge county, Wisconsin and lived on a farm for 11 years. They came to Riceville where they lived until November, 1900. They moved to Davenport in November of the same year to live with their daughter, Mrs. Daniel Weatherly where Mrs. Mulick died, being brought to Riceville for burial Dec. 25 and services were held in the Catholic church by Rev. O'Brien Dec. 26 and remains interred in Calvary cemetery.

The pall bearers were: G. Weaver, C. C. Arnold, L. B. Dunton, J. E. Dargan, J. M Burke, Thos. Bohan.

Mrs. Mulick was the mother of nine children five of them living: M. C. Mulick, Laup City, Nebr., Mrs. Daniel Weatherly, Davenport, Iowa, T. P. Mulick, Minot, N. D., Mrs. John Cannon, Sanborn, Iowa, E. J. Mulick, Davenport, Iowa--all of whom were at the funeral except M. C. Mulick, who was bed fast with an abscess of the ear.
