MARRIED.
Miss Eva Whalen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Whalen of this village, and Sergt. J. T. Casey of Decorah, Ia., were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony at 9 o’clock yesterday morning at the Catholic church of the Nativity in Harmony, Rev. Father Tibeau of Plymouth Rock, Io., officiating. They were attended by Miss Bernice Doherty and Mr. Robert Walsh of Harmony. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Casey left for a short visit at the home of the bride groom’s parents, near Decorah, from which place Sergt. Casey, who was here on a fifteen days’ furlough, leaves today for his camp at Baltimore, Md., where he expects to receive his discharge. The happy couple expect to make Minneapolis their future home.--Harmony News.
