MARRIED.
On Tuesday morn at 8 o’clock occurred the marriage of Miss Reinilda Weiss and Mr. Elmer Mueller at St. Joseph’s Church, Rev. Father J. P. Wagener officiating. They were attended by Miss Winnifred Long, a friend, and Walter Weiss, a brother of the bride.
After the ceremony, they returned to the home of the bride’s parents where a beautiful dinner and supper was served to the relatives of the bride.
The afternoon and evening was spent in dancing and a most enjoyable time was spent by all those present.
Miss Weiss is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Weiss and is numbered among Cresco’s most popular young ladies. Mr. Mueller is the only son of Xavier Mueller, of Bellevue, Ia. He came to Cresco four yaars ago, spending most of his time as a farmer, and the past two falls operated a threshing outfit of his own in and around Cresco, for which he received the credit of being one of the best threshers and grains savers of Howard County. Mr. Mueller gained many friends while in Cresco.
Mr. and Mrs. Mueller will stay at the home of the bride’s parents for a short time after which they will depart for Bellevue where the groom has a beautiful home furnished for his young bride on his father’s farm which he has rented.
Best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Mueller for a long and happy married life.
