Zahasky-Lukes Nuptials.
A very pretty scene occurred Tuesday morning, Sept. 5th at the Holy Trinity Church when Rev. R. Lakomy united Regina the youngest daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Zahasky and Benjamin Lukes son of Mr. and Mrs. Henen Lukes in holy matrimony.
They were attended by Mary Lukes, sister of the groom, and Edward Zahasky, nephew of the bride. The bridal party was also lead by a flower girl, Alma Zahasky, and Roy Zahasky who carried the two wedding rings in a basket of roses.
The bride and maid were both beautifully gowned, the former in white crepe de chine, the latter in lace and net. The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of bride’s roses. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Lukes received the expressions of congratulation from their near relatives and friends at the Zahasky home where an elaborate wedding dinner awaited .them.
The bride has grown to womanhood in this vicinity and certainly needs no introduction for she stands out as a good Christian character blessed with clean and most pleasing qualities. She is most highly esteemed by all and should be a model for others to follow.
The groom is a splendid young fellow of many fine characteristics and who is to be congratulated upon the choice of such a life partner. A free dance was given at the Beseda hall in the afternoon and evening where hosts of relatives and friends gathered for amusement
The writer and their many friends join in wishing them happiness and every possible success in their new field of labor. A Friend.
