Silver Wedding.
The 25th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jan was celebrated Sunday evening, Dec. 26th, when many of their friends and neighbors gathered with well filled baskets and took them by surprise. After Mr. and Mrs. Jan had greeted the guests, dancing and other amusements whiled away the evening and all present enjoyed a very nice time. Mr. and Mrs. Jan were present{ed} with a silver set, a rocking chair and a center table. Supper was served at 12 o'clock. Music for dancing was furnished by the Davis Corners Orchestra and all enjoyed themselves in dancing until a late hour, after which one and all departed for their homes wishing Mr. and Mrs. Jan many more such events in their future life.
