Garvin – Flinn Marriage 1915

The marriage of Miss Mary R. Flinn and Charles J. Garvin took place at high noon Saturday, Dec: 18th at the office of W. L. Barker, the justice officiating. The attending witnesses were W. J. and Albert Walker. The bride was gowned in blue messaline with white lace with traveling coat and hat of black. The bride is the eldest daughter of John Flinn, of Oak Dale Twp. and has kept house for her father and brothers since the death of her mother. Charles Garvin, the groom, is the eldest son of John Garvin, formerly of Muscatine county and is a graduate of the Muscatine public schools and is a young man of sterling worth. The young couple left on the afternoon train for the south where they will spend the winter.
