The bride wore a gown of white cre- de chien with pearl trimmings and a large white pattern hat trimmed with a novelty ostrich band and carried a pearl rosary. The groom wore a suit of dark navy.
Immediately after the ceremony a bountiful four-course wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Lydon.
The bride is an accomplished young lady. Her home is in Cresco, Iowa, and has been here for several weeks.
Mr. Anketell is an esteemed young man and will make an ideal husband and helpmeet for the bride he has chosen. His home is in Oelwein, Iowa, where he is engaged in the grocery and butcher business, and he has a home furnished for his bride at that place.
The newlyweds’ honeymoon trip will include different points of interest in the west.
