At the Plopper residence in Elma, Wednesday, September 1st, occurred the marriage of Prof. S. J. Plopper of Elma and Miss Dale Fessenden of Cresco. Rev. F. G. Young pronounced the ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives of the contracting parties.
Prof. Plopper has been superintendent of the Public Schools for a number of years and has given excellent satisfaction. He is a most excellent young man and stands in high regard in the city. Miss Fessenden taught in the Public Schools a year ago and is well and favorably known here. She is a beautiful and accomplished young woman and will make a delightful home. The happy young couple begin housekeeping at once in Elma where they will be at home to their many friends. The best wishes of the community are with them for a long and happy married life. —Elma New Era.
