At nine o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s church, occurred the marriage of Miss Mary Drilling to Albert Kapler, Father Wagener officiating. The bride wore a beautiful gown of white silk taffeta and was attended by her sister, Miss Lizzie, while the groom’s brother, Ed Kapler acted as best man.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to about 50 guests, nearly all of whom were relatives. The bride is a daughter of Frank Drilling of Vernon Springs, while the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Zack Kapler. The young couple will reside on the groom’s farm about 3 miles northwest of Cresco. They both have many warm friends who will join with us in wishing them success and happiness.
