Minear-Daley.
On Tuesday morning Feb. 16th, 1915, at the Church of the Assumption, occurred the marriage of Mr. Page S. Minear, of Carter, S. D, and Miss Kathryn Daley of this city.
Promptly at 9:30 the bridal party approached the altar to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march where they were united in marriage by Rev. T. J. Murtagh, who with the assistance of the choir celebrated nuptial High Mass. The bride was accompanied by Miss Clare T. Bird, the groom by John J. Daley brother of the bride. James H. and Robert C. Daley acted as ushers.
The bride wore white chiffon and lace over pink silk and black picture hat, and carried white pearl rosary the gift of the groom.
The bridesmaid wore pink silk crepe black picture hat and carried bouquet of pink blush roses.
The groom and his attendant wore conventional black.
A host of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony. An informal reception took place in the church immediately afterward.
The bridal party and guests were then conveyed to the home of the bride's parents where a bountiful wedding breakfast was served.
The bride received many beautiful and useful presents.
The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Daley, of this city, and has grown to womanhood in our midst; after graduating from the Assumption Academy, she engaged in teaching.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Minear, of Canton, Kansas, at which place he has been engaged in the mercantile business until going to South Dakota where he secured a homestead and there identified himself with the leading firm of his city.
Mr. and Mrs. Minear will make their home in Cresco for the present.
