At St. Joseph's Church, Cresco, on Tuesday morning, October 14th, Miss Edith Ferrie, daughter of W. H. Ferrie of New Oregon, was united in marriage to W. J. Thielen, son of George Thielen of Cresco. Father Wagener celebrating nuptial high mass. Rose and Mary Thielen, sisters of the groom, and Ervine and Raphael Ferrie, brothers of the bride, accompanied them, and little Genevieve Kapler and Florence Milz were flower girls. The bride wore a gown of white brocaded silk with white lace, and the bridesmaids wore white.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents
The newly married couple will commence housekeeping on a farm in Howard Center.
