At 12 o’clock on March 12, 1913, at the home of the bride’s parents, occurred the marriage of their daughter Estella J. Kitchen to Howard A. Miles, the Rev. J. Williamson of Onida, officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Laura Bloomenrader and the groom by Mr. Oscar Kitchen, a brother of the bride. The ceremony was performed in the presence of about forty-five relatives and friends. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served.
The reception planned for the afternoon and evening was given up on account of the serious illness of a brother of the groom.
The young couple received many useful and beautiful gifts.
Both the bride and the groom are well known and highly esteemed in this community and will start their married life with the good wishes of a host of friends. The young people will start housekeeping on a farm 12 miles northwest of Blunt, S. D.-Blunt Advertiser.
