Zender-Glass Nuptials.
On Tuesday, April 12th, at the church of the Assumption, Rev. Fr. Murtagh joined in the bonds of holy matrimony Eva L. Glass and and{sic} Chas. H. Zender. A nuptial high mass followed the marriage ceremony which joined these young hearts forever.
The bride was attended by her sister Lauretta Glass and the groom by his brother Joseph.
After the ceremony a reception was tendered the bridal party and the immediate relatives at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. N. Zender.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Glass, claims Cresco as her birth place and has resided here all her life. She is so well and favorably known that many words of praise are unnecessary, suffice to say she possesses that lovable spirit of cheerfulness so cherished by all. She taught in the Howard county schools for several years and for the past two years had been a sales lady in Mott & Co.’s dry good’s store, and all will miss Eva and her winning ways.
The groom, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. V. N. Zender, is a straight-forward, upright, conscientious man of honor and integrity, a friend of all who know him. He is a graduate of the Minnesota University College of Pharmacy.
Mr. and Mrs. Zender left on the evening passenger to visit relatives before leaving for their new home at Henry, South Dakota, where Mr. Zender is located in business.
May success, happiness and prosperity attend them.
