Married Sunday.
Sunday afternoon at two o’clock occurred the marriage of Mr. Everette Smith of Cresco Iowa, and Miss Lora Culbert of Spencer, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Reichleiter at the home of the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. A. Culbert on west 8th street, and was witnessed by a few relatives and friends.
The bride is a popular young lady of this community. She has taught school in this and Dickinson county, and above all took a claim in South Dakota and had the necessary pluck to stay by it until she could prove up on it.
The groom is a young farmer of Howard county, and owns a good farm there, and they left Sunday evening for their home with the best wishes of a host of friends following them.— Spencer Reporter, March 27.
