Cresco Girl Married in St. Paul.
On January 11th at St. Marys church, St. Paul, occurred the marriage of Miss Julia McCarville, formerly of Cresco, Iowa, and Mr. James McKay of St. Paul. The bride was attended by her niece, Miss Mary Daugherty of St. Cloud, Minn., the groom by his nephew, Mr. Dan Donahue of St. Paul. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. E. H. Donahue, Pleasant Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. McKay commenced housekeeping at once in the home Mr. McKay had furnished for his bride at 233 Edward street.
The out of town guests who attend{ed} the wedding was Mrs. P. McAdaragh of Patch Grove, Wis., sister of the groom; Mris.{sp} Mary Smith of Patch Grove, Wis., niece of the groom; Mrs. Mary McKay sister-in-law of both bride and groom of Bridgeport, Wis.; Mr. Philip Dougherty and sister, Miss Mary of St. Cloud, niece and nephew of the bride, and Miss Mary Nering, of St. Cloud.
