MARRIED.
Miss Marie Kaatz and Roy Wilhelm were married in the presence of a few relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Kaatz of Cresco, Iowa, at 2:30 p. m., Dec. 27th, 1909. The officiating minister was Rev. Pless of Cresco, Iowa. Miss Mary Ondrasek acting as bridesmaid and Mr. Herbert Wilhelm, brother of the groom as best man.
The bride wore a lovely gown of white silk mull with trimmings of silk braid and lace. The bridesmaid wore old rose with lace trimmings.
Among the Cresco guests besides the bride’s relatives were Miss Rose Ondrasek, Mr. Wm. Wheeler, Mrs. Wm. Woodard, Mr. and Mrs. Rev. Pless and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Henson, and Mr. Wm. Hudson.
The out of town guests were Mrs. C. A. Rice sister of the bride and husband of Mobridge, So. Dak., Mrs. Henry Kittleson sister of the bride sister of the bride and her husband and daughter of Ridgeway, Iowa, Mrs. George Conklin sister of the groom Chester, Iowa, Miss Blanche Wilhelm sister of the groom, York, Minn., Mr. Oscar Peterson of Minneapolis, Mrs. E. W. Somers and daughter of Minneapolis, Mr. Lloyd Sweet of Chester, Iowa, Miss Thea Grove of Decorah, Miss Anna Kittleson of Ridgeway, Mr. Harry Stevens and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jones of Bonair.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served. Dancing was greatly enjoyed in the W. O. W. hall from eight o’clock in the evening until an early hour in the morning. The music was furnished by Dean’s orchestra.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm will be at home at Bonair, Iowa, after Jan. 15th, 1910.
