Wedding at Cecilia.
On Tuesday morning Nov, 9, at St. Clements at Cecelia occurred one of the prettiest marriage ceremonies of the season, when Helen Pospichal became the bride of John J. Clark. The ceremony was performed by Rev. T. J. Nolan. At 9 o’clock to the strains of Mendellson’s wedding march the bridal party moved up the spacious aisle, there being met by Mr. Clark the solemn ceremony was performed. The bride’s sister Miss Alice, and Charles Clark acted as bridesmaid and groomsman. Miss Pospichal is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Frank Kelley of Cecelia and has a wide circle of friends that wish her much happiness in the life she has chosen. She is a model young woman and has been a teacher in the rural schools of Howard county for two years. All speak very highly of this estimable young woman.
Mr. Clark is the oldest son of Mrs. and Mrs. J. J. Clark of Cecelia. He has lived in the community all his life and no one but speaks well of him. He is a model young man and is to be congratulated on the choice of a fair companion. The wedding march was played by Miss Mary Roche and some choice selections were rendered by the Cecelia choir.
After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride’s mother, where a bountiful wedding breakfast awaited them and their many friends.
We join with their many friends in wishing the happy couple success and may their future lives be crowned with happiness, joy and prosperity.
