MARRIED.
Yesterday morning, Nov. 1st, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Louise M. Barrett, occurred the marriage of Miss Kathrine L. Toole to John Dows, of Grand Forks, N. D. Rev. Wellington McVettie, of Decorah was the officiating clergyman. The ceremony was witnessed by only a few relatives. Those present from a distance were Mrs. Hopkins and daughter Laura of Watertown, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Whitman of Grand Forks, N. D., and Mr. and Mrs. James Toole of Spokane, Wash.
The groom is a young business man of Grand Forks, who stands high in the esteem of the people of his home city. The bride is one of Cresco’s best and most highly respected young ladies, most of her life having been spent in Cresco. Since her graduation from the public school she has taught for several years, four of which were in the schools of Grand Forks, where she has a wide circle of friends to welcome her. The happy couple left this morning for Grand Forks, where they will be at home after Nov. 15th.
