On Thursday morning, Sept. 2, at the German Lutheran church at Elma occurred a very pretty wedding when Miss Mary Zigman became the bride of Mr. Adolph Schonfeldt. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Merting. The bride was dressed in white silk with a white tulle veil and carried bride’s roses. Miss Florence Zigman and Miss Mamie Heinmiller acted as bride’s maids and wore taffeta silk. The groom wore the conventional black and was attended by his brother Theodore and cousin, Will Schonfeldt. After the ceremony the happy couple drove to the bride’s home where a wedding reception awaited them. A sumptuous dinner and supper were served the guests. The bride is a well known daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Zigman and is a young lady of ability, well known and liked by her large circle of friends. Mr. Schonfeldt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Schonfeldt and is one of Elma’s popular young men. He is from a good, substantial family and is to be congratulated on his choice of a life companion. We join with their many friends in wishing the happy young couple happiness, health, success and prosperity.

Transcriber’s Note: The groom’s last name is spelled two different ways.
