Tuesday, Dec. 24th, at 11 a. m., at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Thos. Gates, occurred the marriage of Miss Emma Cray to W. J. Sherwood, of Cresco, the immediate relatives of the bride being the only persons present.
The bride has been for a long time a resident of this city and is recognized as one of our most esteemed church and Sunday school workers. They drove to Bonair from which place they took the afternoon train for California where they will spend the winter. We wish them much joy in their new life.
