Wednesday evening, June 26, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Johnson, occurred the marriage of Mr. W. R. Ashley and Miss Eunice H. Rutherford. Promptly at the appointed hour, 8:30, the young couple attended by T. G. Rutherford as the groomsman and Miss Mae Ashley as bridesmaid took their places in the parlor to the strains of a wedding march played by Miss Sylvia Ashley, and in a brief and impressive ceremoney{sic} were united in marriage by Rev. Gammons. Following the ceremony an elaborate wedding supper was served the large company of assembled guests. The young couple who have so auspiciously commenced life’s journey together are among the many worthy young people of this vicinity, and the Plain Dealer joins with the many friends of the young couple in hearty congratulations.
