Married.
Wednesday afternoon, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Klaffke, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Martha Nellie, with Mr. Herbert E. Painter, of Decorah; the bride’s pastor, Rev. John Pless officiating.
The ceremony occurred at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and was witnessed by only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, following which refreshments were served the assembled guests. The young couple took the evening train for Decorah where they will make their future home.
