20th Wedding Anniversary.
Last Friday night about seventy of the friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Gibbons poured in on them to help celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbons were very much surprised (although Mrs. Gibbons had repeatedly assured us no one could surprise her.) After a short time Mr. Gibbons recovered sufficiently to put on his shoes. It was a jolly crowd and every one enjoyed themselves immensely. The luncheon served by the ladles was very good indeed. Mrs. Taubman in in{sic} behalf of the company presented one dozen sterling silver tea spoons, one dozen silver knives and forks, one china salad bowl, china celery dish, cut glass finger bowl and olive dish. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbons responded in a feeling expression of thanks. The company departed at a late hour wish-ing Mr. and Mrs. Gibbons many happy returns of the day. The donors were:
Mr. and Mrs H. J. Webber, W. R. Libbey, M. S. Lemon, F. O. Farnsworth, O. E. Teetshorn, I. K. Richardson, O. D. Jones, J. H. Bencher, Chas. Lemon, Chas Hess, G. W. Church, T. H. Rutherford, H. W, Meyers, J. Anderson, George Brown, Will Cleghorn, John Lewis, J. V. Vance, C. W. Farnsworth, W. C. Farnsworth, James Lewis, J. J. McGinness, W. H. Taubman, John Kakac.
Mr. W. O. Swenson, N. B. Libbey.
Mrs. May Libbey, Florence Beucher.
Misses Cora V. Libbey, Maude Gibbons.
