Marriage licenses have been issued, the past week, to J. J. Kaatz and Alma M. Becker, Thomas O’Brien and Kate McGruder, F. G. Bush and Isabel M. Nash, James Ondrasek and Frances Malek, Samuel G. Streif and Bertha Steffens.

Tuesday, Oct. 17th, occurred the marriage of James Ondrasek of Schley to Miss Frances Malek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Malek, who reside east of Schley. The wedding occurred at the Catholic church at Protivin, Father Vrba officiating.
Following the ceremony the company repaired to the home of the bride’s parents where a sumptuous wedding feast was served, and the balance of the day and evening was spent in merrymaking and dancing.
