On Wednesday afternoon, June 28, 1905, at the home of the bride’s parents in Riceville, occurred the marriage of Miss L. Maude Gooder to Mr. James A. Cutting, Rev. Linn performing the ceremony. Only a few of immediate relatives and friends were present.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nimrod Gooder of Riceville, a young lady possessing those accomplishments and graces essential in the true helpmeet- The groom is a rising young attorney of Cresco and in every way worthy of the lady he has won. They will go to housekeeping at once in Cresco where the home is in waiting.
The young people have hosts of friends in Riceville and vicinity who wish them abundant happiness and prosperity, in all of which the Recorder is pleased to join.—Riceville Recorder.
