SLAGEL—CULBERT—In Chicago, June 14, 1902, Miss Millie Culbert of Cresco. Iowa, and Mr. Walter Slagel of Chicago, Rev. Hecker officiating. The addition to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Culbert of a husband to their only beloved daughter was something of a surprise to them, as supposed the wedding would not occur until September. Miss Culbert has been in Chicago pursuing a musical course for two years. Mr. Slagel is salesman in the Richardson carpet and rug house where he has held a position for five years. He returns to Chicago this week. Mrs. Slagel will remain for a long visit. May prosperity and happiness attend them.— Cresco Times.
