Married.
ROBINSON—MARSHALL—At the residence of the bride’s parents In Cresco, Iowa, July 1, 1902, at 8 p. m., by Rev. C. A. Marshall, uncle of the bride, Rev. S. R. Robinson of Grinnell, Iowa, and Miss Evangeline Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marshall.
The rooms were beautifully decorated for the occasion with roses and ferns. The presents were numerous and beautiful.
Of the bride, we need to say but little, she having grown up to womanhood in Cresco, graduated from our High school, and has been successful teacher in our public schools and elsewhere since. Her qualities of heart and mind are too well known to her acquaintances to call for further mention from us.
The groom is a clergyman of the Baptist denomination, now stationed as pastor of the Grinnell, Iowa church. During his stay here a year ago while Rev. Silke was abroad, he made many friends among Cresco people, and gave evidence of marked ability in his calling.
After a short visit with her brother at Minneapolis, they will leave for Grinnell, where they will be at home after Aug. 15. The PLAIN DEALER congratulates and wishes the newly married couple the realization of all that is best in life.
