BURNETT—GESELL—At St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran church, in this city on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 1900 Mr. Louis Burnett, of Saratoga, Ia. and Miss Adena Gesell of Atholston Iowa.
The contracting parties are both well known to our people, all of whom join in wishing them as much of joy and as little of sorrow as it is possible to enjoy in a life’s journey through this mundane sphere.
After the wedding ceremony the guests repaired to the groom’s farm home near Saratoga, where a sumptuous dinner was spread for them. After the dinner, the afternoon and evening were spent in jollification and merry-making until the “wee sma' hours.”—Elma Democrat

Transcriber’s Note: The groom’s last name is spelled two different ways.
