Wedding Anniversary.
A surprise party was given to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Humphrey on the occurrence of their 5th wedding anniversary on the evening of November 2nd, when some thirty or more of their friends surprised them at their home bearing many valuable gifts. A pleasant evening was spent, light refreshments were brought and served and at a late hour their guests retired wishing them many returns of the anniversary. Besides their many friends from their immediate neighborhood some came from a distance among them being Mrs. James Daniels of West Union, who reports it to have been a most enjoyable occasion.
