SULLIVAN-REILLY—At Cresco on Wednesday, July 26, at 7 a. in. was solemnized the marriage of Miss Lou Reilly, of Cresco, and Mr. Tim Sullivan, of Uniontown, Wash. by Rev. Father McCarthy.
The bride was becomingly attired in an elaborate gown of blue silk, and was attended by her sister. Miss Mary Reilly. The groom being attended by the brides cousin, Mr. Eugene Reilly of New Hampton.
After the services all drove to the home of the bride’s parents, where they partook of the bountiful feast which had been prepared for them.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Reilly, and is a charming young lady, whose presence always sheds a gleam of sunshine wherever she may be, whose tongue was always uttering kind words for all whom she knew. A young lady whose helping hand was ever reached forward to assist those in need..
She taught school a number of terms in Chickasaw Co., previous to her removal to this county where she has taught also.
She was very much beloved in the school room as well as elsewhere, by all her scholars who appreciated her love and kindness for them, and for whom she toiled studiously that they might obtain a portion of the knowledge which she possessed.
Her charming manners and winning ways gave to her the power of winning the affection of the many friends with whom she was ever surrounded and her kindly smile caused a ray of brilliant sunlight to fall across all her pathways.
