Married.
DAWLEY—FROST—At the home OF Richard Frost, at Lime Springs, Ia., on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1899, by Rev. W. K. Lane, Mr. E. Eugene Dawley and Miss Anna Grace Frost, both of Howard county.
Promptly at eight o’clock in the evening the bridal couple attended by the bride’s two little nieces, Nancy Frost and Grace Owen, arranged themselves before the assembled company consisting of only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, and in a short but impressive ceremony were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by their pastor, Rev. W. K. Lane.
The bride was born in this county, here she has grown to womanhood, and for several years has been one of Howard county’s most successful teachers. By her attainments and character she has won for herself a large circle of friends who can heartily congratulate the groom on the prize he has won. The groom is a young farmer of New Oregon township and is known and respected for his industry, good habits and honest and upright character.
Immediately after the ceremony, the company were served with light refreshments after which the young couple departed amidst a shower of rice and good wishes for their future home which was furnished in readiness for immediate housekeeping.
The PLAIN DEALER congratulates the young couple who have so auspiciously entered into their life partnership.
