This morning at an 8:00 o’clock nuptial mass, at St. Mary’s church, occurred the marriage of Miss Claire Margaret Schuetz, youngest daughter of Mrs. Mary Schuetz of this city, to Mr. Lawrence J. Owens, son of Wm. Owens of Cresco Rev. B. H. Forkenbrock spoke the words which united the two hearts for the remainder of life’s journey. They were unattended.
The bride wore a dark green suit and black hat and a corsage bouquet of lillies of the valley.
After the church service a wedding breakfast was served to immediate relatives. The table decorations were bouquets of carnations and smilax.
The bridal couple will leave on the 1:38 train this afternoon for a trip to Freeport and Chicago, after that they will reside in Cresco.
The bride is one of New Hampton’s choicest ladies. From a little girl she has grown up in our midst, honored by old and young, alike. She has ever been a bright star in the home circle and now she has gone to reign as queen of her own home.
The groom is almost a stranger to us, but judging from what the bride is worthy of he is a good and noble man.
The good wishes of this entire community will go with this excellent bride and the man of her choice.
May success and happiness be given .to them in the fullest measure.—New Hampton Tribune.
