A Family Reunion
Last Sunday, July 12th, there was a family reunion at the Joe Burnikle home in Vernon in honor of the 80th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Ohmacht, mother of Mrs. Burnikel, there being about 50 present, including all of Mrs. Ohmacht’s children, the first time they had all been together in 13 years. Among those present were Mrs.Eugene Frank, Chicago; Wm. Omacht and family, Danvers, Minn.; Sam Ohmacht and family, St. Cloud, Minn.; Joe Burnikel and |family; John Omacht and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Derr, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Derr, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thuerk, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Parchman, Mrs. Adolph Peters and children and Edna Evert. The day was spent in talking of the good old times gone by. At noon a bountiful repast was served by the ladies, and all returned home wishing Mrs. Omacht many more happy birthdays. Mrs. Omacht was presented with a beautiful leather rocker.
