MARRIED:--At the residence of the bride's parents, in Cresco, June, 24th 1887, Rev. Alex S. McConnell. Prof Laenas G. Weld of the University of Iowa, and Miss Harriet M. Doan, only daughter of John G. Doan.

This is one of the matches made in heaven. Leanas is a Cresco boy, and his bride one of the fairest of Cresco girls. They will go to their new home in Iowa City some time in August, and the best wishes of hosts of friends will follow them.
